Digital Archiving Policy

Al-Musyiri: Journal of Da'wah Management is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published articles. The journal implements a comprehensive digital archiving strategy to safeguard scholarly content against data loss and technological obsolescence.

To guarantee permanent access, the journal adopts the following archiving systems:

  1. Open Journal Systems (OJS) Archiving
All published articles are stored and managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, ensuring systematic digital preservation and metadata standardization.

  2. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
The journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create distributed archiving across multiple participating libraries, ensuring content redundancy and secure long-term preservation.

  3. CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
Where applicable, the journal supports CLOCKSS as an additional dark archive system to preserve content in the event the journal ceases publication.

  4. Institutional Repository
All articles are deposited in the institutional repository of the publisher to ensure additional backup and wider dissemination.

  5. National Library and Indexing Databases
The journal encourages indexing and archiving through national and international indexing services to enhance content preservation and global visibility.

  6. Regular Backup System
The publisher performs routine server backups and database preservation procedures to prevent data loss due to technical failures.

Through these archiving mechanisms, Al-Musyiri: Journal of Da'wah Management guarantees perpetual access to its scholarly content and remains committed to maintaining the integrity and sustainability of academic publications in the field of da'wah management.
